Welcome friends of BUHS!
The Wildcat Women Scholarship Foundation was founded by a group of Brawley High School graduates who decided after their 10th reunion to give back to the community by supporting the future of young women graduating from B.U.H.S. What began as a small campaign by the class of 1984 has grown into a large organization supported by the many friends, family and neighbors of Brawley Union High School. Since 1995, we have awarded over $26,000 in scholarships to 50 deserving young women.
Our organization has obtained 501(c) 3 not-for-profit status. So your contribution is 100% tax-deductible. Our donor ranks have continued to grow over the years and the 50 women we have supported to date are the way you, and we, can measure the success of our efforts.
Beginning with the 2003-2004 school year, we were able to increase the number of scholarships we awarded. Due to excellent fundraising efforts, we awarded scholarships in the amount of $750 each and plan to continue awards at this level in the future.
